Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamolrat Intaratat, CCDKM, and the School of Communication Arts, STOU, Thailand has presented the success case study supported by the 9th institute (Well-being for the Specific groups), Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Thailand: People Literacy & Privacy : How Digitization as well as the Digital Tooling can facilitate all kinds of marginalizes empowerment affected to Social safety or Social Protection to All. The Ageing groups also one among the main target of “Informal workers” that needed to be empowered and protected. The Smart Ageing Academy together with the Smart Silver Economy: How ICT can act as a magic tooling to facilitate all holistic empowerment of Thai Aging under the flagship of “Smart Aging: Smart Entrepreneur with Soft Power & Silver Power”. Around 70 of the policy from all tripartite representatives together with experts, consultants from Asia Pacific region host by ILO.
Digitalization in Social Protection has been implemented throughout the entire range of social security administrative processes, including registration, contribution, and claims process. It records a living history of people’s experience of social risk through digital data. These automation programs aim to enhance efficiency and productivity in service delivery, but they also lead to new forms of exclusions and challenges. ( ILO, 2023)
